New horizons in grain logistics and global food security. We discussed the topic at the round table “GLOBAL FOOD SECURITY: CRISIS AND WAY OF OVERCOMING” in Geneva.
Discussed: prospects and challenges in this field after the Russian aggression in terms of changing logistics routes and the impact for importing countries, particularly African countries. iCORN CEO Kostyantyn Kuflik delivered a speech at the event together with Yuri Sidorenko, the iCORN Co-owner. We discussed how the full-scale invasion forced us to look for alternative grain export routes. How the closure of major ports prompted us to refocus on small river ports and transit points. A successful case of adapting logistics to new conditions and increasing our company’s exports from 20,000 tons to 100,000 tons monthly since the beginning of the war.

Our mission is to create conditions under which every country can easily get grain, less costly and much quicker delivered than now. We believe that this will open up new opportunities for struggle with world hunger and will improve the food situation in the developing countries.
